Yes, please bring them along. We cater for your pet by providing a yard off the cottage, inside bedding (ideally placed in the lounge near the fire or in the cool of the laundry), towels (after a swim at the beach or in the dam or river), feed bowls, and information on 'pet friendly' places to visit in our area.
We've recently fenced the river off from the rest of the property. It's proving to be a great 'free roam' area for well behaved dogs as is the fern gully walk.
Although part of the National Park, Johanna Beach does allow dogs on leads ~ Its wide foreshore is ideal for long walks. Dogs are also permitted, on lead, at Beauchamp waterfall and rainforest walk and other scenic spots around the Otways.
To ensure that dogs can continue to enjoy holidays at "Johanna River Farm & Cottages" we ask owners to abide by a few conditions:

Restrict pets to the laundry & living areas

Do not allow pets in the bedrooms

Use the rug & towels provided or bring their own beds

Please keep the lead on when near farm stock or guests in other cottages

Do not allow dogs near our farm animals

Please remove all dog mess from cottage & gardens prior to your departure.

Please note that your pets should be supervised at all times, and not left unattended in cottages or yards.
